Brined Cucumber Pickles!?

For my second attempt at fermenting vegetables, I’m trying brined cucumber pickles. My first attempt was Kimchi, using the leftover cabbage from the Borscht I made earlier in the quarantine period. We don’t currently have all of the spices that were recommended in the Fermented Vegetables book I received for my birthday, so I’m not sure how they are going to turn out. We’ll see in a few days.
